Yaya de Andrade

Dr. Yaya de Andrade is a registered psychologist with the B. C. College of Psychologists (#613), and a listee with the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology (# 04667). She holds a Ph.D. degree in Psychology, and she is a Board Certified Expert on Traumatic Stress Studies by the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.

She has had opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary projects locally and abroad, and she always enjoys meeting and working collaboratively with people from diverse ethnicity and field of work, directly assisting them, training and coordinating services after traumatic events. In 2005, she was awarded the International Humanitarian Effort Commendation, by the B.C. Psychological Association.
