There is no shortage of activities and tasks that you could perform to ensure that you ship a great product, but there usually is insufficient time to do all the things you would like to do. With an understanding that earlier focus on product quality can provide drastically greater returns, this discussion presents the breadth of activities you could focus on by expanding the traditional "V-model for testing", then provides some strategies for ensuring that your limited testing resources are optimally allocated.About Jim Brosseau
Jim Brosseau has been involved in software projects for over 20 years in a wide variety of roles. In the past 5 years he has consulted to companies across North America such as Mariott International’s PMO and the IT group at the Mayo Clinic, as well as numerous local firms. He is the principal of the Clarrus Consulting Group, a company dedicated to working with BC software groups to improve their development and management practices, with a focus on business performance.
