Abstract
Dan Zrymiak will share his experiences of expanding within the Quality profession by being a writer and contributing author. Starting from being a contributor to internal newsletters, Dan will cover the advantages and steps of preparing, submitting, and gaining benefit from participating in the international community of Quality authors. A copy of Dan’s latest effort, the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Greenbelt Handbook will be available for draw or auction for the benefit of VanQ members.About the Presenter
Dan Zrymiak is a professional management consultant with Accenture’s Delivery Excellence group, managing the IT Operational Excellence program across multiple clients. Dan’s diverse background in software and quality assurance spans 16 years and includes software delivery management, professional services, e-commerce, medical, and financial applications. Dan has also been on the part-time post-secondary faculty member, teaching courses at UBC, Kwantlen, BCIT, and direct client engagements through QA Labs. Dan has published over 30 articles in various journals, most notably the ASQ Software Quality Professional and the ISSSP Six Sigma publications. Dan was most recently a co-author of the ASQ best-seller, The ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt Handbook.Agenda
