The Benefits of Automation
Justin Hollander, QA Developer/Analyst, Squirrel Systems of Canada

Abstract

I will be talking about one particular aspect of the QA aspect, automation. Within this topic I will talk about what problems automation addresses and how my company, Squirrel Systems of Canada, chose to implement its automation solution. Automation has many benefits, and if done properly can save your company many hours of doing manual certification checklists. One key to a properly implemented automated system is proper separation of input data from the system. This, however, is easier said than done and is a big reason why some automated systems fail in the end.
