When: AbstractThe purpose of a quality audit should be to provide an independent assessment of the overall state of control of a process or group of processes, depending on the scope of the audit. The purpose of a process should be to define the elements necessary for activities to be consistently performed to meet its intended needs, to provide evidence that the activities were correctly performed, and to enable the executors of the process to know how well the results of the process are meeting the process’s intended needs When these two purposes are in alignment, both the processes and the quality audits provide real value to the business and ultimately to its customers. This presentation will provide small steps quality practitioners can take to move their businesses toward this goal.
